Michael Apjohn Sadler was born in 1674. He was the son of Michael Apjohn and Christian Lysaght. Michael Apjohn Sadler married Margaret Widenham in 1714 in City of Limerick. Michael Apjohn Sadler married Susanna Mead on 2 July 1735 in City of Limerick.1 Michael Apjohn Sadler died in 1751.
On Nov 12, 1714, Michael Apjohn, Sadler of the City of Limerick, and his wife Margaret nee Widenham, settled Margaret's marriage portion which had been advanced to her by her brother Daniel Widenham after their father's death ca 1708 (John Widenham's will was dated Mar 14, 1708). A witness to this memorial was Brian O'Brien..2 He witnessed the Memorial of William Apjohn of Kilduff on 27 July 1716; On Jul 27, 1716, Edward Apjohn of Dromlara rented the lands of Gortnesky and part of Dromlara from William Apjohn of Kilduff. Witnesses to the memorial are Michael Apjohn, Sadler of Limerick, and Thomas Apjohn of Ballyvoneen. The memorial does not indicate the relationship between Edward and William; however, William was probably his uncle.3 On Jul 25 1719, Michael Apjohn Sadler of the City of Limerick purchsed from William Earl of Inchiquin the "tenements in Mungret Lane and in the City of Limerick" including "the houses, backsides, orchards and gardens thereunto belonging." On Aug 13, 1720, Michael brings Owen Roberts of Clonmel and James Dalton Innkeeper in the City of Limerick into a three-way ownership of the property on Mungret Lane. One of the witnesses of the memorial is Henry Widenham of Ballynamona, son of Daniel Widenham and Michael's nephew..4 On Aug 3, 1721, Michael took on two partners, Owen Roberts and James Dalton, and made each a one-third owner of the property on Mungret Lane..5 Michael Apjohn Burgess of the City of Limerick and his partner James Dalton, Innkeeper, assign their two-third interest in the property on Mungret Lane to Hezechiah Holland for the sum of 71 pounds..6
