The O'Dea Families

     John Murnane was born circa 1797 in Dromcomogue in the Parish of Emly, County Limerick. He married Sarah Day on February 18, 1817 in Knocklong, County Limerick. Witnesses were Matthew Madden and Daniel Madden. The record indicates that the bride's name was Mary; however, in light of subsequent records, this seems to be an error. The name of the bride was probably Sarah Dea.¹
