     Thomas Bartley was born in 1829 in Milltown in the Parish of Aglishcormick, County Limerick.1 He was the son of Thomas Bartley and Margaret Day. Thomas Bartley married Catherine O'Connor on May 19, 1857 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts.2 Thomas Bartley died in 1905 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.3 He was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Although the stone indicates he was born in 1835, this was likely a guess.3
     He immigrated with Thomas Bartley and Margaret Day on August 11, 1849 to Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The Bartley family arrived in Boston on the Sunbeam.4
